Brittany Purrington, MA, LMHCA, LPC, CIT

If you’re here, you may be feeling the rumblings of the quake—watching the life you built crumble around you,
looking at all the fallen pieces wondering, what now?

I’m Brittany, a licensed psychotherapist, and I believe in the power of creativity, connection, and coming home to yourself.

I know what it’s like to face life’s shifts firsthand. Transitions have shaped much of my life—I moved often growing up (and, truthfully, as an adult too). Each change carried both loss and possibility, teaching me that home is not a fixed place or another person, but something I can return to within myself.

My roots are in my truth.

My becoming is in the expression of that truth.

It was during one such period of upheaval—the passing of my grandfather—that I first felt the potent alchemy of the arts. In an experiential course, I poured my grief into a performance, letting movement, sound, and story give form to what could not yet be spoken. What began as heaviness unfolded into lightness and unexpected joy, showing me the profound ways disruption can lead to insight, growth, and healing.

That experience opened a path to therapy, where I now help others navigate pivotal turning points, especially those who sense that the path they imagined has shifted, find meaning, and discover their own capacity for expression and healing.
